Hello,
Release of server currently returns the server to Ready state.
There are use cases where we want to re-use same server - for example - to re-install OS.
It would be good to have the following MAAS functionality:
either
- ability to do “release” action which would result in server remaining “allocated”
or - ability to deploy a server which is in deployed state (op=redeploy)
or - new API call “undeploy” - which wouldt do same as release but to “allocated” not to “ready”
