So basically what I’m asking in the topic. So after deploying a host, I can see it’s entry twice in the DNS resources…in both lower and uppercase. Why is that?
What MAAS version are you using? I can’t reproduce this, do you have a small reproducer?
Seems I have 3.3.8 in production and 3.5.1 in my testing environment. Both suffer from the same thing. I’ve named my hosts R660-(the maas adjective-animal) so I added that R660 prefix. And as I added that, I now have R660-valued-moose and r660-valued-moose etc.
