Webhook power type SSL bug

Hi!

Despite having set “Verify SSL Connections…” to No in my power/webhook configuration MAAS is failing on power commands with:

Version:0.9 StartHTML:0000000105 EndHTML:0000000378 StartFragment:0000000137 EndFragment:0000000346 Failed to query node’s BMC - [<twisted.python.failure.Failure OpenSSL.SSL.Error: [(‘SSL routines’, ‘’, ‘certificate verify failed’)]>]

This has been working for a long time, I guess a system update or MAAS udpate may have broke this functionality.

I am running MAAS as:

maas 3.5.5-16357-g.51588a151 39401 3.5/stable canonical✓ -

yes, probably the same thing. I added a note on the bug.

Ive been hitting my head against a wall thinking my webhook server was bugging, glad to see its a recent bug

experiencing the same error with the same no verify setting on webhook
