I downloaded the images of Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 in MAAS, but I am unable to select the 22.04, neither as the default commissioning image nor to deploy with.
Is this a bug or am I missing anything?

Which version of MAAS do you use?
Can you please check that images were downloaded and synced?
Also it is worth doing a full page reload, just to ensure UI is not reading available images information from cached data.
