Unable to commission generation 1 Hyper-V VM

I can commission a generation 2 (UEFI) Hyper-V VM without a problem in MaaS, but I get an error when trying to do the same with a generation 1 (legacy BIOS) VM.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?
I have reproduced this problem in both 3.2.6 and in the 3.3 RC2 release.

@kevin-reeuwijk, what version of MAAS? and can you include some regiond and rackd log files around this error?

I don’t know if that helps, but in this case, the problem is the opposite. Maybe I’ll give you some clue, if you haven’t solved this problem yet.
