As recommended at https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1631129 this feature request is to be discussed here.
In the meanwhile, the concept of pods has been introduced into MAAS.
Maybe it’s an option to provide full support for Hyper-V like virsh. I see especially following points for development:
- powertype
- pod management
