Guys,

I love MaaS… But it have a LOT of bugs! Jesus…

I’m facing an old bug LP:1630034 with MaaS 2.5 stable.

So, that bug isn’t fixed yet!

MaaS is great! But there are a lot of annoying bugs that apparently, are simple to fix / avoid.

any workaround? Found the old bugdiscussion from 2016, but i cant find the place to put the workaround in /etc/maas/preseeds/curtin_userdata
power_state:
mode: reboot
delay: 30

In the bugfix thread comment #14 said:
In /etc/maas/preseeds/curtin_userdata, there is a section here that looks like:
power_state:
mode: reboot

You can change this to say:
power_state:
mode: reboot
delay: 30

This must have been an older version of /etc/maas/preseeds/curtin_userdata as mine does not look like that at all

We are sorry you guys are experiencing issues. I welcome you to file new bug reports in https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+filebug, provide step-by-step instructions to reproduce and all available logs.

That said, since MAAS is open source, we also welcome you to provide any patches/fixes to make the product better.
