When looking at the Machines tab, I should be able to search for any identification string MAAS knows about. This is pretty important because I should be able to search for all HPE machines, or all ‘DL380’ machines.
Currently this is impossible and I’m forced to abuse tags to tag every machine with data MAAS already knows about.
So…
Observed Result:
I cannot search for things like Vendor Name, Machine Model Name, or Device name (such as Mellanox or Broadcom or Marvell).
Expected Result:
Search bar allows me to search for these very common search items that make administering large numbers of machines easier.
