Power "Unknown" after enlisting, but "Check power" one-by-one fixes it

After enlisting nodes, they show up as Power: Unknown, even though all of the IPMI settings have been registered successfully.

The fix is simple but tedious: Click on the machine to get to the machine page, then do Power->Check power.

The Power->Check power action doesn’t seem to be available on the main Machines page with multiple machines selected. The only options are Power on, Power off, and Soft power off.

I’ve got another 500 or so machines to do this with, so I’m wondering if there’s a quicker way.

I am running maas 3.5.1-16317-g.409891638 via snap on both the region and rack controller.

Thanks, that does sound very similar.

MaaS 3.6 still suffer from this issue (and btw, there are plenty of UI bugs in MaaS 3.6 which makes me find MaaS 3.1 way better)

It’s supposed to be fixed. You might want to open a bug and provide all the details of the servers you are using, logs and screenshots
