Is there an option in MAAS to disable PXE boot of metal server such that after installation of OS during deployment , everytime a reboot of metal server happen, it shud not search of PXE boot, instead it shud boot from installed server.
Please let me know any steps i can follow for that.
Deploying is used under the guise that you are deploying for a specific application and that may not coincide with whatever was run last. The idea is that your bank of servers are a herd of cattle and that any will do the task needed at the time of request. This is further exemplified when you work with application layers like Juju or more.
What you should consider doing instead of deploying and releasing is deploy and customize as you need and then poweroff/on as demands come and go. This negates the need to run PXE boot.
