This notice is raised as a warning of the deprecation of DHCP snippets in a future release.
MAAS is migrating its DHCP server, which will result in the loss of DHCP snippet functionality.
One key use case for DHCP snippets was reserving IP addresses within a configured DHCP pool for specific hosts. These IPs remained reserved for as long as the host existed or until the user removed the reservation.
