HiIi would like to suggest the following feature “MAAS release commissioning scripts auto use”
MAAS 3.5 introduce commissioning script for machine release https://maas.io/docs/reference-maas-scripts
if possible these enhancement:
- Enable UI - create/delete commissioning scripts, Release machine will allow you to manually choose release scripts
- Enable auto use for release commissioning scripts - can set in script metadata “auto use” and it will be execute by default same as with commissioning scripts. use case: We use MAAS to allow teams to reserve machine with specific network adapters for their networking qualification process, while they use their machine they can burn different firmware and configuration. on release I would like to align release machines to a default firmware and configurations
