Hi team, whenever I add a LXD Host to my local MAAS installation, it seems MAAS is not using the default LXD profile that is configured (only the default profile exists), and this is tested by adding VMs from the UI or through Juju, and the default profile is not configured on those.|
I couldn’t find any Canonical official documentation on this, can you help?
Best,
Henry
Depending on how you added the LXD KVM controller to MAAS, it may be using a profile it created named ‘maas’. You could check that via the lxc command line or even the lxd UI.
That is what happened to me when I had MAAS deploy the server.
As far as how to deal with it.. that depends. You can just start using the different profile and set it as the default on, presuming you do not need to specifically use a profile named ‘default’.
