MAAS and LDAP/AD

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows about how to set up MAAS for LDAP/AD authentication. I found a conversation from last year but there was no resolution at that time, other than that Candid should be used. One commenter suggested:

I did open an inquiry there, but I was then led back here. :slightly_smiling_face: I’m struggling to find any info at all, so any pointers would be much appreciated.

Hi @billwear. We never did get any further with this. My recollection is that it’s a closed feature for customers on paid support, and we’ve not purchased any (sorry) so we have decided to get by without it. Is that correct?

i think you got it right. RBAC is really what you need, and that is a paid product. totally understand. let me know if we can help in any way.
