Will MAAS 3.8.x depend on Ubuntu 26.04? We’re looking ahead towards deploying Ubuntu 26.04 and would like to get MAAS upgraded first to whatever release supports being deployed on 26.04. Do we have an estimate for when 3.8.x might be released? Thanks!
Hi, yes MAAS 3.8 will be based on resolute. We expect to deliver it in the upcoming months

We’ll release them as soon as our integration tests are passing. It should be a matter of few days. In the meantime you can already try the candidate stream of images.maas.io if you want to try 26.04

we’ve spotted some issues in the 26.04 images in the last couple of weeks and we’ve been busy addressing them. They should be out next week.
We found some additional problems while testing resolute with some machines/raid controllers. We are not going to release resolute this week
