My machines are power-managed using Intel AMT via the same network interface card an.
Intel AMT preserves the last IP assigned via DHCP and this is used to power manage the machine.
The problem is that with the current life cycle for a MAAS machine, the IP address will change as soon as they are re-deployed or not released.
What is the proper way to handle this situation?
Providing a static IP for AMT and a dynamic by MAAS is not supported by the newer AMT versions and explicitly forbidden.
