Issue restoring from backup

I am trying to restore from a backup. I followed the docs at https://maas.io/docs/backing-up-maas#clean-reset-backup-1

At step 7 Restore the MAAS snapshot it says Restored snapshot #5. But when I run snap list maas does not show up. What am I missing? I can see the data under /var/snap/maas but doing any maas commands do not work.

I got it working, the docs need to be fixed.

Please add a step before restoring the the snapshot.
sudo snap install maas

Then you can run snap restore.

After this apparmor will be broken and you have to reboot the node for the maas commands to work.
