How to enable TLS on Candid

I’m unable to find any documentation on how to enable TLS on candid URL.
Is it possible to set this to https?

Default location non secure - http://candid.example.com:8081

Using TLS with Candid should not be a problem. Perhaps, this tutorial about Candid authentication for LXD can help:

Currently, there is an open issue on the Candid repository. The reporter references this guide about how to configure TLS with Candid and RBAC for MAAS.
