When configuring DHCP on a subnet, MAAS requires a rack controller to be assigned. The first time you enable DHCP on a subnet, no rack controller is selected, and so the “Configure DHCP” green button cannot be clicked. The problem is that there’s no visual cue as to what’s missing. Would be nice have something red somewhere showing that the rack controller assignment is missing.
