It would be great if MaaS could provide support for Citrix Hypervisor, XenServer and XCP-ng.
The current challenge is to clone the whole installation disk, which contain multiple partitions, into an image. Then perform a post configuration of XenServer.
Considering that XenServer and VMware get unique ID generated during the installation, wouldn’t it make sense for MAAS to support remote network installation of those OSes, where MAAS would be responsible to provide the proper answer file ? This would simplify the OS installation and partitioning and make those installation a supported method from vendors.
