EFI Boot error message, "grubx64.efi - Not Found"

Guys,

Most of my MaaS’ Deployed Machines based on EFI + GPT, prints the following error:

Booting local disk...
Failed to open \efi\boot\grubx64.efi - Not Found
Failed to load image \efi\boot\grubx64.efi: Not Found
start_image() returned Not Found

However, the Machine boots up normally!

But, any idea about how to fix this for new deployments?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have hit the same issue.
I had a similar issue a year ago and it was related to that the MAAS netboot image didn’t support the network drivers for our 10G Intel NICs. What are you using for the pxe network?
We are using Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710 for our openstack controllers.

I will try deploying in legacy mode to verify this.

There’s some hints in this bug report from a couple years ago … https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1789319?comments=all

any updates here, I getting the same issue when trying to install several Intel NUC corei3/5/7 machines?

why nobody is helping here!!!
