Deployment fails when using Register as KVM

Hi ,

i’m pretty new to maas and I’m having an issue I don’t understand.
Deployment to machines work if I deploy an operating system only but when I select deploy and register as kmv the deployment gets stuck at rebooting or powering on until it timesout.

When i ssh to the machine it communicates with maas.
My maas version is 3.2.6

Im adding the deployment logs i’ve tried to deploy and register as kvm lxd on ubuntu 20

It is also true with MaaS version 2.8.x.

I’ve went trough so much pain thinking my configurations was the issue.

I can’t believe it was supposed to work, I’ve passed 2 weeks trying to get maas working for juju.

I got it working on snap MAAS : 3.3.0~beta1 with the machines in 18.04.

maas 3.2.6 had issues with the deploy
the machines deployed in 20.04 had issues with virtualisation on lxd and virsh, the machine would start and then pause, and give errors when resuming.
