Deploy is setting manage_etc_hosts

I’m running into an issue where the deployment is setting my hostname in /etc/hosts to ip 127.0.1.1. It looks like there was a bug on this several years ago that was resolved but I’m seeing manage_etc_hosts get set in the current release. This is causing some of the components in the Hadoop charm to bind to 127.0.1.1 when they intended to bind to the hostnames public interface.

Unfortunately in the years since this post I’ve moved on to another project and am no longer working on Maas.
