I want to deploy a ESXi host, where i need to change both VLAN and ipadress, at the end of the deployment.
The reason is that the host starts up on a default untagged closed vlan.
The maas server, delivers an ipadress, and deploys the ESXi.
At the end, i need to change the nic, so it get’s tagget with a vlan, and get’s put onto a different network, where it can be consumed by a new service.
I can do the full deployment, but i cannot find a way, to change the ip.
If i set the ipadress on the machine setting page, it start’s up, without any ipadress set.
Any good pointers, on where to look ?
It might wery well, be me who is missing how to use the product.
