Change IP address of rack-controler / regiond-controll

Hi,

we have the situation, that our maas server which contains a rack+regiond controller had to move to a new network.

But whatever I try - the IP of the regiond-controller doesn’t change and stays at the old one. Its a snap install, when I try to call maas-region or something like this fails with a python error. Machine was rebooted multiple time, but the rackd/regiond didn’t pickup the new IP addresses so we can’t control machines anymore.

How can I enforce this change? I don’t see any config files anymore, documentation only tells me about ADDING rackd/regiond but not how I can change the IP configuration of an existing controller.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

(edit): and all documentations saying I should use “maas-rack” - but I get only “command not found”…

Change the /var/snap/maas/current/regiond.conf and /var/snap/Maas/current/rackd.conf or run sudo maas init again

That helped…

Thanks for the fast help!
