So I need to change my interface name of a few nodes I’ve already deployed. Is it possible to do that? Or do I need to release the nodes before I change the name?
I need it to change it because I’m installing openstack and the ovn chassis is looking for the wrong interface name so yea…would prefer to not have to redo everything by releasing the nodes if possible

MAAS will not allow you to modify the network configuration on a deploy machine. You can manually change it on the host and use maas-run-scripts report-results in 3.1 to then have this change reflected in MAAS. Which there is ongoing work to automate that update.
