[Call for testers] Testing our our search DSL

Hi MAASters :grinning: ,

Our MAAS UX is currently working on the new search DSL for MAAS. The purpose of our new search is to allow users to:

  1. Construct search query easily
  2. Ability to save search queries
  3. Ability to share search queries
  4. The same queries should work with both the UI and the CLI

So for us to be able to bring this new search experience to everyone, we would like to do a 5 mins experiment. This will help us understand the thought process of our users and how we can design a better search DSL.

Approx: 5 mins

This is a free style query. You can type answers as a search query in any format you like. If the questions sound ambiguous, try to assume how you would set it up in your environment ( such as using tags to categorise “production” machines, etc.)

Feel free to add explanation to your query as comments by beginning the line with “#”.

We plan to conclude the results in 2 weeks! Happy searching everyone.

Updates: no worries. It seems the recording will be submitted only after completing all questions.

How can I reset the progress (answers) of an experiment?
