Please be aware that due to a mistaken build job, we accidentally released 2.9.0RC2 from the master branch of MAAS, instead of the release branch. This has meant it includes work-in-progress rewrites of the UI which are broken and cause missing sections (e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1905685 )
I have tagged 2.9.0RC3 and am pushing it to the usual places (snap 2.9/candidate, ppa:maas/2.9) as I type this. For all intents and purposes, RC3 is the same as RC2 but built from the correct branch.
Please accept our apologies for this SNAFU, and bear with us whilst we get RC3 through the pipeline to you.
