Sorry for the late reply. There was another user asking for this so I’ve crafted https://github.com/canonical/packer-maas/pull/111 .
I personally don’t know if this centos9 will be officially supported by maas, but if you don’t have any strict requirement you might give this a try.
@johnliaotvc do you have anything to share regarding your experience with that centos9 image? Of course if you’d like to share it

I was able to get centos 9 stream build successfully with Maas 3.4 beta 1. We had build issues with the current 3.3 version.
