Because we have another system to manage the use of IP addresses so I have to use “Static assign” to configure static IP in MAAS. Before that I need to add the corresponding VLANs to maas(please let me know if I’m wrong). I am worried that someone may choose “Auto assign” or “DHCP” mode by mistake to cause IP conflict. Is there a way to eliminate this possibility, for example, limit the ranges of IP addresses that “Auto assign” or “DHCP” can assign？

If you go in the configuration page for the subnet, you can reserve parts of your subnet. See https://maas.io/docs/ip-ranges
