I replaced the version 4.99.4 that comes with 24.04 with 4.99.5. That helped. And if I recall, I had to replace tcpdump from /snap/maas/40405/usr/bin/tcpdump with the new one. Replacing system’s tcpdump isn’t enough, that I can tell. I have a broken env as I type and have to recall how to fix it now…
And because snap is what it is and it’s a read only filesystem, I most likely have to mount/bind over the old one.
